God Becoming Man

Česky: Vzkříšení Lazara La résurrection de Laz...Before the coming of Jesus, our forefathers had hoped in the promise of God concerning the Messiah, the seed of the woman, the seed of Abraham, and the son of David who would become the savior of the world. From Adam to Abraham, and from Abraham to Israel the promise of the Messiah was the greatest gift one could ever hoped for. It was understood that there was a need for us to be saved from the powers of darkness, and that the only way to be saved was through the blood of the Messiah that was to be poured out on the earth as the atoning sacrifice on behalf of mankind.

At his arrival when it was announced that Mary the virgin had a baby boy called Jesus, it was evidence that God has kept his promise to the world by becoming man, our Messiah to complete and fulfill the mission of redeeming humanity. Although Jesus was the Creator of the world, the true and only God in the universe to whom all things belong, he left his heavenly throne entering our world that he might become our sacrifice. He prepared himself for us through his word, and the way for the resurrection, so that through his death we would be forgiven, and by his resurrection we would live forever.

The word of God became human, God came down from heaven to fulfill the promise he had made with us, and to give us his kingdom. What man did touched heaven, we are that important to God that he thought is good to die for us. Rather than destroying mankind, God took pleasure in us, setting in motion from the day of transgression to redeem us from the power of the grave. He prepared the way by his word for his death, “For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.” (Psalms 22:16 KJV)  and for his resurrection that we might have life in him. “He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth. (Psalms 57:3 KJV)

Now that he is risen from the dead and now live forever, so we live and shall never die, the grave has no power over our lives on account of Jesus, although we will drop this old body in exchange for the new. When we cry out to God he will hear us from his holy mountain, and on account of what Jesus has done God will come to our aid. He shall send from heaven, and save us from the reproach of him that would swallow us up in the grave. The word of God took on flesh died for us, rose from the grave, and live forever.
