The scripture told us to go in all the earth and preach the gospel, Jesus also told us he will be with us always and will never leave us. With this knowledge we are to take courage in the Lord knowing that no one will be able to withstand us. The world will try to prevent us from ministering the word of God, but if God be for us who can be against us.
This was the very message God gave Joshua after the death of Moses, Joshua was commanded to lead the people across the river to take the land God promised he would give to his people. Joshua had to take the land by force, but God told Joshua that no man would be able to stand before Him. God re-assured Joshua that he would be with him and will not fail him.
The promises found in the scripture are ours to take, and to inherit those promises we need to step out and cross the river that is between us and the promise God has made with us in Christ. Unless we trust the Lord taking courage in his word will not cross over the river and will keep on wondering in the wilderness.
Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying, Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast. There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. (Joshua 1:1-6 KJV) Join us http://preuz.com/blog
