“And God said; Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them”. Genesis 1:26-27}
Now according to the Bible, on the sixth day of Creation, God created man, and it was His will, and pleasure to create man from the dust of the earth, placing the kingdom He created in his hands. In heaven, God agreed with His host, to create man in His image, and placing us in the care of angels, we are to be as He is among His host.
In agreement to the plan of God, man was created, and God breathing on Him life and being. Under his authority, God placed the living creatures of the earth that he may rule over the kingdom of God, as a son with authority.
God made a covenant with the man He created, he must multiply and fill the earth; these were to be his descendants, descendants who would become princes and co-rulers over the entire earth, and sustaining the kingdom of God on earth.
Adam the first created man was a king on the earth, and supported by the hand of God, he was empowered by God to bring glory to the kingdom. However, to complete the covenant, God gave Adam a wife, that through her, he might bear children. The name given to her was Eve, meaning mother all living, for she was the fruit of his body and the blessing of God unto His glory.
As their lives continued in the garden, and the relationship grew, God made a covenant with man concerning the kingdom he was to govern, “ You may eat of the trees of the garden, but not of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for the day you do you shall die.”
Adam was a king ruling in the place of God the Father. Adam was the reflection of God, His authority over the kingdom. Through this relationship, God brought Adam into the place of holiness; he was the authority through which God would have reign over the earth.
All things created were the Lord’s, yet through a loving relationship, He chose to give man rule over the kingdom; leaving responsibilities to the son, He has created. He had confidence in Adam, but according to the scripture there was a rebellion in heaven, which was about to fall into the earth. Gen 2:15.
Cast out heaven, a bright star like lighting fell on the earth, and bringing into being the age of the gods. No longer was man alone on the planet, those who were the guardians of men have now come down that they may overthrow the man God has placed on His throne.
The bright star that fell from heaven was once the bearer of the light of God, he was a guardian of the throne in heaven, who had rebelled against the kingdom of his God, and to the effect of his rebellion; Satan was banished from the kingdom. Now on earth, and knowing he has but a short time, he will test the man God has placed on the throne of His kingdom, on earth.
“And, behold, they cried out, saying, what have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? Art thou come hither to torment us before the time? Matthew 8:29}
But before the chaos and overthrow of Satan in heaven had taken place, God had sanctified a day on which He would meet His son, a day on which they would meet over things concerning the kingdom. He had given Adam His blessing; and man would be supported by the kingdom of God, and because of the covenant, God would continue to support man, and the kingdom He has given into His hand.
However, to break this covenant, was to find the sharp side of the law, banishment and death. Moreover, because of this reality, Satan came down that he might move the man against God, claiming an illegitimate rule to the throne on earth, by and through deception.
Truly, our human history is filled with drama, the gods came down, the Greeks and the cultures of the past knew them well. To us; however, they are tales, but a closer look has revealed they are not. We may not believe in the philosophies of the Greeks; nevertheless, how can we deny their accounts of the gods, when we have before us, a story of Lucifer falling to the earth, because of rebellion.
Finding himself on earth, Satan went before the throne of Adam, and the throne of God that he might bargain with the son of God the king. He offered a deal, that if man would unite with him, against the kingdom of God, he could become more than human, but a god knowing what God knows, good and evil.
With this knowledge, he would be as God needing nothing, and agreeing to the plan of Lucifer, Adam and his wife, gave over the counsel of the throne to Lucifer, a rebellious angel, who had threaten to overthrow God possessing the kingdom.
