God‘s is an ever present God; and not only in times of need. The problem is we are always waiting until there is a time of need for us to pray and seek God. If we are wise we would be busy praying as Paul said, without ceasing planting seeds, so that when those times of need arises we are well equipped to handle the issues surrounding us.
We know this world is not a world of peace, and trouble is always lurking around. Therefore, we are to consider the ant as Solomon pointed out, that we may store up for those troubling times. Wisdom is available to all who will turn to the Lord Jesus Christ, and prayer is our power to move those mountains. I must say after all I have been through, I know prayer is the way out through Jesus Christ, and if I am wise will continue to pray leading an upright life before the Lord.
We seek God’s support often as Christians, but in many case there is a condition, God is the same today and tomorrow. He never changes, nor will He go back on His word. In Psalms 1:1 we read, “Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.” Which is God’s condition for him to support us?
God promise always to support His children, but we must understand as Christians, the full gospel. “If we do what is right we will be accepted, but if we do what is wrong sin is at our doors wanting to have rule over us. Let us; therefore, do what is right, that God may support us according to His promises. God bless you my friends and pray always for each other.
Genesis 4:3-7 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. And the LORD said unto Cain, Why are you angry? and why is your countenance fallen? If you do well, shall you not be accepted? and if you do not well, sin lies at the door. And you shall be its desire, and you must rule over it.
