Genesis 12:1-4 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get you out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father’s house, unto a land that I will show you: And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed. So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

It is often overlooked by many Christians, the blessing God has granted to all who walk in obedience unto his voice. We often allow the world to throw us under the bus, while we are the ones with the power and hope of life. God promises never to leave us nor forsake us, yet we are afraid to stand up for Christ. At what time have we ever seen the dead ruling over the living, at no point in history, and being that Jesus is alive we should let him alone rule over our lives.

Those who reject the offer of Christ are like the dead, and should have not have ruled over us, yet we allow them to throw us under the bus, and believing they are more powerful, we withdraw from spreading the gospel. God told Abraham he would bless him, and curse those who dare to bring about a curse against him. This was the promise given to Abraham, and a promise we have come to inherit through Jesus Christ. What then are we afraid of, bring your case before the Lord, and He will bring to pass the promise he has made, a faithful God he is, a God who will never, and has not changed.

Matthew 10:26-31 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak in light: and what you hear in the ear, that preach upon the housetops. And fear not them who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore, you are of more value than many sparrows.
