James 1:13-16 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempted he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren.
Why is God so angry with mankind? The world just don’t seem to understand, or they just don’t wish to listen. Rejecting the warnings of the gospel, the world has turned their backs. It is for this reason they will die in their sins. To show the world that He loved them, God sent His only begotten son to die in their place, but even so the world has rejected Christ. And in their rejection, they hand him over to be crucified.
However, It was God’s plan to leave His son in the hands of His enemies, that they may offer His life, as the atoning sacrifice. It was through this shedding of the blood of Christ, that the world was drawn closer to God. But even thou God has brought the world closer to Him, the world is fighting, and pulling away from Him, they fall into judgment.
God is angry at man, not because we are imperfect, or because we are unable to abide by the law, but rather He is angry, jealous because we have turned away from Him, as He is the only one capable of saving us. God is angry at the world, because He loved us so much to save us, but we have turned to those things which can neither save us from what is to come.
God’s anger is the product of His love for us, His desire to save us, and because we have turned from His saving grace. God is in other words, angry at mankind because we have no desire to be saved, turning to the gods of this world we have rejected God’s love, and provision of salvation. We are without excuse, God has made provision, but we have rejected His offer. And as a result of this rejection on our part we will spend our eternity in hell, a place that was prepared for the devil and his angels. Jesus said, “Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth” God will renew the earth, restoring it to its former glory, but the wicked and rejecters of the gospel will be cast out of it.
Exodus 20:3-6 Thou shall have no other gods before me. Thou shall not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shall not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
