It is common for the world to take advantage of our kindness as Christians, mocking, laughing, and calling us mad, and crazy. And often times we seem to let it get to us as Christians. We take these insults and over analyzing them, we withdraw from speaking out publicly, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

When we are zealous for the word, and our Father in heaven, the world seems to find a way to push us back into our closets. They often call us “Fanatics” Bible thumper, and the like. But are they not fanatics concerning the things they love.

They are fanatics, but according to the world standards, what they are fanatics over should not count. What they do is ok, but what we present is not. However, to the contrary, what we have to offer is far greater than what the world have to give, and we are more precious, we are the salt of the earth and without us in the world, the world would instantly fall into judgment.

If you are feeling down today as a Christians, because of these and many more persecutions to come, feeling as if you need to remain in the closet, know that you are the salt of the earth, and if it was not for you, God would have brought judgment in the place you dwell, work, and travel. For as salt you are God’s grace in that place.

Matthew 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
