Today’s society is filled with people wearing masks, at home we are one thing, but then, another when we are out with friends. Truly there lays within us, a human weakness, we are afraid to be persecuted for our faith, we are afraid to face the heat, forgetting we have stored up for us, a great reward. I see it all the time, people seeking to establish themselves, and wearing masks deceiving their very friends. We are today living in a world where men are finding it difficult to speak the truth to each other.
When we speak the truth out of love, to our friends, and those around us, we instantly become their enemies. Little by little they begin to stay away from us, truthful council is not what the world is seeking, they rather we lie, supporting their evil plans. And to cover their deceit, the world use humorous jokes to hide what is beneath the heart, and sometimes can be bold enough, to the face to the hurting each other. We say we are good people, but speak evil, before and behind each other, yet when we meet we asked “how are you today?
I have seen this, and it is very damaging to relationships, and so we see today, a world gone astray seeking after the wind, conversations filled with deceit, who then can we trust. We with our months have created a world hostile, unfaithful, and evil. In the end we will be judged, our words and conversation being the records kept, the seepage of our hearts.
Matthew 12:33-37 “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. 34You brood of vipers how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. 35The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. 36But I tell you that men will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every careless word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”
