It was foretold, God would send a son, a seed of Adam to judge the world, and the prince of the air.  He was sent to heal the broken hearted, to bind up wounds, and to give sight to the blind. Jesus entering the synagogue on the Shabbath read aloud the His sermon, He announces His appearance.

Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

After the announcement, He was quickly taken out of the synagogue to be stoned, declaring himself God is a crime punishable by death. But under the care of God’s angels, he was shielded from the mob. Off He went to accomplish His mission, “Psalms 1:1-3 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

The end result of Jesus’ constant vigilance was our salvation, and now He has left in our hands a mission to accomplish. “Matthew 28:18-20 ‘And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, ‘All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Let it be done.

The prince of the world was judged, he was cast out of the kingdom, and now as the people of God chosen to do His will, we are empowered to rule over the prince of the air. When we pray he trembles, when we praise the name of Jesus, he is shaken. Our praise is a sign, the Lord is King and that His kingdom is an everlasting one. Isaiah 9:6

John 12:31-32 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
