Jesus our true King -p3

After the sentence was passed, on the human race, God drove Adam from the kingdom. Creating hell for the devil, God set about fulfilling the promise He made with Adam, a covenant concerning his son, the savior of the human race to come.

God throw Adam out of the kingdom, away from the tree of life, providing he wouldn’t be tempted to eat, and live forever. The purpose, mercy, man having the hope of redemption need not eat to live. Should he eat from the tree, having gain eternal life; he would remain in a fallen state, for an eternity. Providing the process of death, man would be restored to life, having access to a new body, and life in the restored kingdom.

Thrown out of the kingdom, Adam went off having children, two sons, Cain his first born, and Able his second. This was the beginning of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, and our human history; the beginning of the struggle of man, over the kingdom, and throne of God.

Cain the first, was a promising son, and heir to the throne of God. In Adam’s view he was the one from which should come the savior. Being the first born, he was in line to inherit the throne and place of Adam, but as time went by, Cain’s heart took council in the devices of the enemy, leading him away from the God of his father.

God showing his disapproval of Cain turned His attention to Able. Able was a shepherd, Cain was a tiller of the ground; and in the process of time they brought their offering before the Lord. Cain being selfish and disrespectful of God brought a vain offering before the Lord.

However, Able his brother having the understanding of the type of offering required, brought the precious life of a lamb. Knowing that sin brought death to humanity, and that he deserves to die, on account of his father’s sin, Able brought a lamb, whose blood was a show of the punishment deserved for sin.

God seeing the heart of Able gave His approval, anointing Able as the son who would have rule over the kingdom and throne, after Adam. God chose Able’s descendants, as the one through which the savoir should descend. Cain having heard of Able’s anointing, and God’s confirmation on him, went out in anger, and with a hateful heart, murdered his brother, illegitimately confirming himself, as the ruler of the kingdom of God.

  1. 1.      Enmity of Jesus against Satan
  • Genesis 3:14-15 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shall thou go, and dust shall thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shall bruise his heel.
  1. 2.   The Judgment of humanity
  • Genesis 3:22-24 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubs, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
  1. 3.   Cain’s Judgment
  • Genesis 4:11-12 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; When thou tills the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shall thou be in the earth.

Leaving the presence of God, Cain went off building his kingdom, the first city he called Enoch, after his son. Between the descendants of Cain and Able there would be a struggle, lasting thousands of years to come. Divided by jealously, Cain stayed in Nod, from which he fought against the kingdom of God. However, Seth, Adam’s third son after Cain killed Able would come of age, anointed by God he would lead the generations. It was through Seth God would preserve the genealogy of Jesus, putting aside the confusion caused by Cain and his descendants.

  1. Hi Benabu,
Can you clarify? What would you like me to share about that I know?

    • Anything God is revealing to you, you never know we might be able to help each other grow. Anything you believe no yet understand. I have alot God has shown me, things preacher have gooten wrong. I will be sharing them here.

      Thanks again.

  2. Hi
I’ve NEVER heard of anyone who understood the difference between Cain’s offering and that of Able before. I’ve thought this way about the offerings for a long time but I’ve never heard anyone confirm my belief about this until you have. If you understand the difference between the two offerings you can understand why God was “pleased” with the one, and “not pleased” with the other
